Shipping Coverage

  • Uvalde Meat Market ships products both within Texas and nationwide. To ensure your order is delivered smoothly, we will contact you before shipping to confirm that someone will be available to receive the package.

Shipping Methods

  • FedEx Ground: Used for deliveries within the state of Texas.
  • FedEx Express Saver (2nd Day): Applied to orders outside of Texas.
  • Overnight Shipping: Available upon request for faster delivery (additional fees apply).

Shipping Schedule

  • Orders are processed and shipped Monday through Wednesday, ensuring that your package arrives before the weekend, avoiding delays from being held in a warehouse over the weekend.
  • Uvalde Meat Market does not ship packages on weekends to prevent perishable items from sitting in transit for extended periods.

Packaging and Perishable Items

  • To maintain freshness, perishable items are shipped frozen in Styrofoam coolers with dry ice.
  • We use 5-7 lbs of dry ice to keep up to 50 lbs of frozen products at the correct temperature for up to 72 hours.
  • Dry ice safety: Avoid direct contact with dry ice to prevent skin injuries.

Delivery Requirements

  • Please provide a physical address (home or office), as we cannot ship to PO boxes.
  • All shipments require payment to be processed beforehand. Uvalde Meat Market accepts all major credit cards.

Dry Ice Handling Guidelines

  • When using dry ice for freezing: Place dry ice on top of items with an insulating material between the dry ice and the product.
  • Trophy game handling: To avoid freezer burn on trophy game, ensure that dry ice does not come into direct contact with the meat.
